Mission, Vision, and Core Values
We’re on a mission at Bingham Memorial Hospital. We offer a healthcare experience that is unparalleled in the level of quality and compassion, and we deliver that healthcare experience in a personalized way to each unique patient. Further, we believe everyone in eastern Idaho deserves to receive this type of care and we have a vision of providing this type of healthcare throughout eastern Idaho. Like guiding lights, our values ensure we stay true as we pursue this important mission.
Four Core Values
Teamwork. We are a committed part of a team of individuals communicating openly to create excellence. We are not a team because we work together. We are a team because we are honest, have integrity, and care for each other.
Honesty. We generate trust by having the inner strength to be truthful and sincere.
Integrity. We are accountable to ourselves and others and accept ownership for our actions and attitude. In other words, we strive always to do the right thing whether someone knows or not.
Caring. We serve our patients with respect, empathy, and compassion.
You may have already noticed that our Mission and Vision Statements are proudly displayed in the main entrance of the hospital on the wall to the right of the elevators. In the coming weeks, we will be adding to the displays on that wall to showcase four employees on a yearly basis who have been nominated and selected for championing BMH’s core values of Teamwork, Honesty, Integrity, and Caring in their everyday work.

Leading by Example
As we see these exemplary individuals in the hall, may we each reflect upon our own actions and be reminded of what we stand for as an organization as we strive to achieve our mission and vision. To succeed in our important mission, we rely on one another as a diverse team of more than 700 individuals—from physicians, nurses, therapists, engineers, and food service workers to a dynamic housekeeping team, volunteers, administrators, and so many more—all of whom comprise the Bingham Memorial Family.
Several ways you can incorporate our core values into your daily routine, include:
“I am so proud of every single one of our employees and physicians and the phenomenal work you do to deliver compassionate, personalized healthcare. I wish for all of us to know that we are a part of something great, something bigger than ourselves. What you do on a daily basis saves lives, decreases suffering, and calms weary hearts. May we be true to our values as we work daily to achieve our important mission.” –Jeff Daniels, CEO
