College of Massage Therapy

The College of Massage Therapy at Bingham Memorial Hospital is proud to present a program that will train and prepare students to work with health care professionals, with massage techniques that are compatible in a hospital, medical, or spa setting.

Recent statistics show that more hospitals and health care professionals are recognizing the value of massage as a complementary healthcare choice. More physicians are referring their patients to massage therapists for relief of pain from headaches, backaches, and for stress reduction. This unique relationship is a support system that creates an increased health benefit for the patient. There is an increasing demand for massage therapists who can work hand-in-hand with the medical community.

Bingham Memorial Hospital recognizes the importance of massage in a healthcare environment and is the only hospital in Idaho to offer this incredible opportunity in such an exceptional setting!

The College of Massage Therapy also understands the growing need for massage therapists in the spa industry. Spa modalities are included in the curriculum to meet that demand and send our students out to the field with a well rounded education.
