FACT or CRAP: Gratitude helps you live longer

Fact or Crap November

Dr. Brady Martin says:

Fact. Multiple studies have shown that people who have an “attitude of gratitude” fair better than their pessimistic neighbors when it comes to dealing with chronic illnesses. Additionally, a recent study in the Journal of Personality and Individual Differences showed that people with an “attitude of gratitude” have better mental health, are more likely to participate in healthy activities, and are more likely to seek care for health concerns…all of which has been shown to help improve the quality and quantity of our years.
