Dr. Rosin chose Internal Medicine as his focus because he enjoys the complexity of caring for elderly patients with cardiovascular and pulmonary disease. To him, the patient always comes first. I believe we each have a purpose to fulfill and mine is to assist with the healing process, says Rosin.
Dr. Rosin believes that an Internist fills an essential role as a patient s gate keeper. It is very beneficial to have one physician monitoring and managing all of the health issues and referrals a patient may need. This is particularly important for individuals who have multiple health issues or a variety of different symptoms.
Dr. Rosin encourages his patients to participate in regular health screenings, especially if they have a family history of cardiovascular disease. If a patient s health insurance does not cover such tests, he encourages them to attend health fairs and take advantage of the free or reduced cost screenings offered. It is important to review screening results to determine a person s health status and establish a benchmark for future results.
Dr. Rosin and his wife moved out to Idaho from Kansas. They have four children with two still living at home. Dr. Rosin enjoys the outdoors through fishing, boating, RV traveling, gardening, and watching his children s activities.
