Specialty: Internal Medicine
Bingham Memorial Hospital is pleased to welcome Saad Hijazi, M.D. to our Internal Medicine staff. Dr. Hijazi is a compassionate, skillful doctor with extensive experience. He graduated from the University of Pershawar in Pakistan, Khyber Medical College, and completed his residency at St. Mary's Medical Center in San Francisco.
As an Internal Medicine physician, Dr. Hijazi sees a variety of patients including those with obesity, hypertension, osteoporosis, headaches, chronic fatigue, mood disorders, diabetes, persistent lower back pain, and other medical issues that adults experience.
Since his youth, Dr. Hijazi has always loved science. Ultimately, it was his love for science and compassion for others that inspired him to become a doctor. "I approach every patient without discrimination of race, gender, ethnicity, insurance, or financial status," says Dr. Hijazi. "I always try to place myself in their shoes and then I am able to recommend the best treatment and care plan for them."
Dr. Hijazi says that he likes to spoil his patients by doing all he can to help them feel relaxed and comfortable while in his office. When time allows, he likes to spend a little more time with them to answer their questions and make sure they leave with a smile on their face.
Dr. Hijazi is married and has three children. He and his family chose Idaho and Bingham Memorial Hospital to get away from the fast-paced life of California, and to have a more favorable environment to raise their family. Dr. Hijazi enjoys jogging and hiking. He and his family like having picnics and look forward to exploring the many parks and recreational areas found here in Idaho.
Dr. Hijazi is a member of Bingham Memorial Hospital's Internal Medicine Team, and is currently seeing patients at the Medical Office Building across from Bingham Memorial Hospital in Blackfoot. To schedule an appointment with him, call 785-5801.
