Sherwin D'Souza, M.D.
Bingham Memorial Hospital is pleased to recommend Sherwin D'Souza, M.D., a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine with special training in Diabetes and Osteoporosis.
Dr. D'Souza completed his medical schooling at Seth GS Medical College and King Edward Memorial Hospital in Bombay, India with an internship at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York. He was also the Chief Medical resident at the University of Connecticut Health Center. He is also a member of the American Diabetes Association.
He chose these areas of emphasis, because of the intense need for specialized diabetes care in our area. Dr. D'Souza finds every day rewarding to hear his patients are progressively doing better.
Dr. D'Souza's goal is to help patients control their diabetes and prevent complications. He does this by listening to and empathizing with his patients then offering advice based on sound judgment and cutting-edge information. He stays on top of his areas of expertise through continuing education and conferences.
Dr. D'Souza and his wife, Caroline, have 3 delightful children. He also enjoys running, hiking, movies, and music - but most of all, spending time with his family.
