Dr. Evans is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He completed his medical schooling at the University of Pennsylvania and his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Wisconsin. He completed his Gastroenterology fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.

Dr. Evans chose Gastroenterology because it provided him with the opportunity for patient contact in both a clinical setting and in performing surgeries. He has been highly trained in diagnosing and treating colon polyps, acid reflux disease, ulcers, and other digestive system disorders.

He finds it very rewarding to make a positive impact in his patient's health, especially with colon cancer patients. He says it is also exciting to hear that overall cancer rates have dropped on a national level for the first time in 80 years, largely due to a drop in colon cancer rates.

Dr. Evans was born in Wisconsin and raised in Pennsylvania. He is married and has 3 children. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, biking, and skiing in the mountains of the west.
