M. Elizabeth Gerard, M.D.
Dr. Gerard has always been fascinated by the brain and nervous system, which led her to become a board-certified Neurologist.
Dr. Gerard graduated from the University of Florida College of Medicine and received the Outstanding Neurology Student Award. She was the Chief Resident at the University of Colorado in the Department of Neurology and also completed a fellowship at the University of Colorado in Clinical Neurophysiology/Epilepsy.
Dr. Gerard has over 10 years experience in the diagnosis and treatment of Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, Multiple Sclerosis, migraines, and strokes. She prides herself on being a good listener and is devoted to her patients. She has also found that being a mom has helped provide her with more empathy and patience as a physician.
She is also a member of the Idaho Pain Group, which helps people who suffer from chronic pain find relief through a multidiscipline approach including Anesthesiology, Neurology, Physiatry, Clinical Psychology, Physical Therapy, and Neurosurgery.
Dr. Gerard has two children and enjoys running and cross country skiing. She also coaches soccer and volunteers with the Girls on the Run program that encourages girls from grades 3rd - 8th to stay active through running.
