With the flu season officially underway, free flu shots will be available at both of these open houses. There will also be great food, door prizes, and live entertainment.
The open houses in Blackfoot and Pocatello will also be an opportunity for the community to become acquainted with Bingham Memorial’s new healthcare providers along with the services and procedures they offer. These new doctors and providers continue to help Bingham Memorial provide high-quality medical care in a caring and compassionate manner.
“To benefit the people of Eastern Idaho, we continue to identify and assemble the most qualified group of healthcare specialists from around the world,” says Jake Erickson, CEO of BMH. “Please help us in welcoming our newest providers, eager to deliver you and your family the best medical care available throughout the region.”
Since the end of 2017, Bingham has welcomed 24 new medical providers and four new internal medicine residents to their growing healthcare network. They have added leading specialists to their medical staff in the areas of cardiology, family medicine, gastroenterology, general surgery, neurosurgery, psychology, wellness & weight loss, women’s health, and wound care.
The new providers for these specialties will be on-hand at the open houses for the public to meet and ask questions to. They hope you will attend, get a free flu shot, and enjoy some light refreshments.
“We continue to invest significant time and resources to bringing world-class specialists to Eastern Idaho,” says Mr. Erickson. “And, to accommodate for our on-going growth and innovative solutions to healthcare, we have developed new programs and expanded into several new offices throughout the region this past year.”
In Blackfoot, Bingham is growing their wound care program and hired a new Medical Director, Devn A. Frandsen, DO.
In Idaho Falls, Bingham partnered with Sandcreek Family Practice to provide additional family medicine services to the community as well as work with Carmen Radford, FNP-C, who is one of the only female family medicine specialists in the Idaho Falls area, and she speaks fluent Spanish.
In addition, in the middle of October 2018, Bingham will be opening their new, highly anticipated surgery center, catheterization laboratory, and medical office building in Idaho Falls on East Sunnyside, directly in front of the Fairwinds Senior Living Center. The 30,000 square foot facility will be called the Comprehensive Care Clinics of America, and will include physician offices for outpatient clinic visits for cardiology, nephrology, interventional radiology, interventional pain management, joint replacements, orthopedic and sports medicine, pulmonology, and spine care.
Due to the growing demand for Bingham Memorial’s high-quality and compassionate care in Pocatello, they have expanded into the following office locations:
- Pocatello Women’s Health Clinic, now a proud affiliate of Bingham Memorial Hospital, located at 777 Hospital Way, Bldg. A, Suite 300. (For women’s health)
- Clifford & Clark Family Medicine, another proud affiliate of Bingham Memorial Hospital, located at 4750 Yellowstone Ave. (For family medicine)
Furthermore, the Cardio Renal Centers of America (CRCA), in collaboration with Bingham Healthcare and Fresenius Kidney Care, broke ground on their new, state-of-the-art Community Medical Campus in Chubbuck in September 2018. It will be 150,000 square feet and include physician offices for outpatient clinic visits for nephrology, interventional radiology, primary care needs, women’s healthcare, and pediatrics, along with offering the latest technology in the region for peritoneal dialysis. In addition, there will be interventional pain management, orthopedic care, joint replacements, spine care, mental health services, an on-site pharmacy, and laboratory.
“As you can see, it’s been an exciting year at Bingham Memorial, and we have even more plans in place for 2019,” says Mr. Erickson. “We invite the community to attend one of our fun and educational open houses, which will be a great opportunity to meet the world-class physicians and exceptional healthcare providers who have joined us this year. I strongly believe that when it comes to healthcare, Idahoans deserve the best and that everyone in Eastern Idaho should have more medical options to choose from. Our growth represent the future of medicine and our vision to improve the quality of personalized care for all patients.”
