BLACKFOOT, ID – January 29, 2018 – Bingham Memorial Hospital (BMH) is pleased to announce that their Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center received a five-star rating, the highest rating possible, from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The star rating was calculated from the most recent state inspection results, certain quality measures, and staffing levels.
This comes on the heels of the CMS updating the 2018 Medicare Advantage star ratings on health plans, allowing consumers to explore options that will best suit their individual needs.
“Medicare is committed to empowering seniors to choose high-quality health and drug plans that fit their needs and the needs of their families,” said CMS Administrator Seema Verma in a press release. “More high-quality choices mean improved quality care and better customer service at lower cost. The star ratings helps people with Medicare shop to find the best choice possible.”
“Receiving a five-star rating validates the work we do and is a reflection of our mission to provide the best high-quality and compassionate care in Eastern Idaho,” said Mark Teckmeyer, administrator of Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. “Our physicians and caregivers focus on providing excellent care to guests staying with us long-term, and our rehabilitation teams develop tailored plans to meet the needs of each individual patient to achieve optimal outcomes.”
The Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center offers many unique benefits for the citizens of Eastern Idaho in addition to providing a safe and secure environment that enhances personal growth.
