BLACKFOOT, ID – April 20, 2022 – Bingham Memorial Hospital (BMH) presented $69,795.28 to the Bingham Health Care Foundation (Foundation). The money was generated by the hospital’s use of a Zions Bank commercial credit card, and is considered cash back, much like many consumers earn from using their consumer credit cards.

“Bingham earned a rebate percentage based on our card utilization throughout the year,” explained Randy Nightengale, Chief Financial Officer at BMH. “We are always looking for ways to be fiscally responsible and each little bit helps.”

The hospital, in turn, decided to donate the money to the Bingham Health Care Foundation, to be used toward the Foundation’s mission to enhance healthcare services to community residents.

“We are grateful the hospital decided to donate this money,” said Troy Eppich, chairman of the board of directors of the Foundation. “We will put this money to good use in advancing access to healthcare services for individuals throughout eastern Idaho. I’d invite other businesses and community members to consider donating to the Foundation.”
