We are pleased to introduce Brandon Durfee, physician assistant-certified (PA-C), who works at Bingham Healthcare’s 1st Choice Urgent Cares throughout Eastern Idaho. He has 10 years of emergency medicine experience.

Brandon assesses patients of all ages by performing a comprehensive history, physical examination, and appropriate diagnostic testing. He formulates plans to manage a patient’s condition medically and serves as a health information resource through interactions with patients and their families.

Specifically, he treats patients with acute illnesses including fever, dehydration, influenza, asthma exacerbation, pneumonia, accidental ingestion, appendicitis, bowel obstructions, gastroenteritis, serious bug bites, burns, abscesses, and other viral illnesses. He also treats patients with head injuries, lacerations, sprains, fractures, and dislocations.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Idaho State University in Pocatello, ID. He then completed the Touro University Nevada Master of Physician Assistant studies Program in Henderson, NV, and his post-graduate training is in emergency medicine. He is a member of the Society of Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants and American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Brandon was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho. When he is not practicing medicine, he enjoys mountain biking, four-wheeling, hiking, gardening, farming, and playing with his kids.
