Specialty: Family Medicine and Urgent Care

We are pleased to introduce Brandon Smith, family nurse practitioner (FNP-C), who works at Clifford, Clark, & Walker Family Medicine.

Brandon assesses patients of all ages by performing a comprehensive history, physical examination, and appropriate diagnostic testing. He formulates plans to manage a patient’s condition medically and serves as a health information resource through interactions with patients and their families of all ages. He works with patients on immunization plans, sports physicals, and annual wellness exams.

Specifically, he treats patients with acute illnesses including fever, dehydration, influenza, asthma exacerbation, pneumonia, accidental ingestion, appendicitis, bowel obstructions, gastroenteritis, serious bug bites, burns, abscesses, and other viral illnesses. He also treats patients with head injuries, migraines, lacerations, sprains, fractures, and dislocations.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Idaho State University in Pocatello, ID. He then completed his Master of Science in Nursing: Family Nurse Practitioner Specialty at Clarkson College in Omaha, Nebraska.

Brandon was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho. When he is not practicing medicine, he enjoys playing a variety of sports, especially golf. He also enjoys spending time with his family and three boys.
