Brian J. Hansen, DO*

Specialty: Family Medicine

We are pleased to introduce Brian J. Hansen, family medicine specialist. He practices family medicine with a focus on patient wellness and prevention.

Dr. Hansen chose to specialize in family medicine because it gives him the opportunity to work with patients of all ages—from newborns, children, and teens to adults and the elderly. He provides annual wellness exams, physicals, preventative and therapeutic care services, and the management of diabetes, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure. His patients describe him as friendly, easy to talk to, and someone who genuinely cares about their well-being, always placing their best interests first.

Dr. Hansen earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine in Dothan, Alabama. He completed his family medicine residency at Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho.

When Dr. Hansen is not practicing medicine, he enjoys spending time with his wife and they enjoy traveling and exploring new places both inside and outside of the United States. He believes a strong foundation of healthy living is by being active and exercising and would love to pass on his love of sports and fitness to his patients. His favorite hobbies are: mountain biking, basketball, soccer, snowboarding, playing the guitar, working out, and watching or coaching his kids playing sports.
