Carmen Radford, FNP-C*

We are pleased to introduce you to Carmen Radford, family nurse practitioner (FNP-C) at Sandcreek Family Practice, now a proud affiliate of Bingham Memorial Hospital. She is one of the only female family medicine specialists in the Idaho Falls area and speaks fluent Spanish.

Carmen provides preventative care for patients of all ages, women’s health, chronic illnesses management, and acute care services. She offers well child and sports physicals and participates in the children’s immunization program.

Prior to starting her own practice, Carmen was a cardiac floor nurse, after which she worked in an emergency department for 11 years. She truly values her patients and knows that proper treatment requires a true understanding of the patient. She has a strong amount of compassion for her patients and listens to their concerns. She works to build a good relationship with every patient.

Carmen earned her Bachelor of Nursing from Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho. She then earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington.

When Carmen is not practicing medicine, she enjoys camping, white water rafting, running, and Zumba.

Nos complace presentarle a Carmen Radford, enfermera familiar (FNP-C), de Sandcreek Family Practice, una orgullosa afiliada del Hospital Bingham Memorial. Ella es una de las especialistas femeninas en medicina familiar en el área de Idaho Falls y habla español con fluidez.

Carmen brinda atención preventiva para pacientes de todas las edades, salud de la mujer, manejo de enfermedades crónicas y servicios de cuidados graves. Ella ofrece exámenes físicos y deportivos y participa en el programa de inmunización para niños.

Antes de comenzar su propia práctica, Carmen era enfermera de la unidad cardiaca, después de lo cual trabajó en el departamento de emergencias durante 11 años. Ella realmente valora a sus pacientes y sabe que un tratamiento adecuado requiere una verdadera comprensión del paciente. Ella tiene una gran compasión para sus pacientes y escucha sus preocupaciones. Ella se esfuerza por establecer una buena relación con cada paciente.

Carmen obtuvo su Licenciatura en Enfermería de Idaho State University en Pocatello, Idaho. Luego obtuvo una Maestría de Ciencias en Enfermería de Gonzaga University en Spokane, Washington.

Cuando Carmen no practica medicina, le gusta acampar, practicar rafting, correr y Zumba.
