Physician Bio

Bingham Healthcare is proud to introduce J. Kendall Christensen, DO. He is board certified in family medicine and sports medicine.

Not only is Dr. Christensen a native of eastern Idaho, raised in Blackfoot, but he was also born at Bingham Memorial Hospital.

During his fellowship he served as one of the team physicians for roller derby, semi-professional basketball and hockey as well as for several universities in the area and a local high school. He also provided medical coverage to many other events, including ironman length triathlons, marathons, and the Meijer State games.

Dr. Christensen sees patients of all ages, and specializes in non-surgical approaches to treat musculoskeletal injuries. He employs several modalities in his treatments, including osteopathic manipulative therapy and regenerative medicine. He works diligently with student athletes, and those with an active lifestyle, to catch injuries early—before they worsen. His patients describe him as friendly, honest, and someone who takes the time to educate them in a nontechnical way.

When he’s not practicing medicine, Dr. Christensen enjoys spending time with his wife, originally from Layton, Utah, and their three children. He loves spending as much time outdoors as possible and plays soccer, snowboards, mountain bikes, fishes, and cross-country skis.

Dr. Christensen sees patients at Bingham Memorial’s Orthopedic Institute in Idaho Falls and Blackfoot. He is always welcoming new patients.
