Bingham Memorial Hospital is pleased to welcome Dr. John Fornarotto, MD, ophthalmologist, to our dynamic team of physicians. He sees patients at the Idaho Physicians Clinic in Blackfoot.

With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Fornarotto’s scope of practice includes treatment for diseases of the eye, specializing in Small-Incision, No-Stitch Cataract Surgery, treatment of glaucoma, and lid surgery.

Dr. Fornarotto attended Cornell University in upstate New York for his undergraduate studies. He then attended the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, receiving his Doctor of Medicine in 1984. He completed an internship in general surgery at the Detroit Medical Center in Michigan and completed his residency in ophthalmology at the Kresge Eye Institute.

When Dr. Fornarotto is not practicing medicine, he and his wife enjoy spending time with their three children. They love to travel, ski, hike, and bike as well as attend plays, the opera, and a variety of musical concerts.
