About Bingham Memorial Pulmonology

Pulmonologists

Bingham Memorial’s pulmonologists sees patients who have challenging respiratory disorders such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD), chronic bronchitis, asthma, emphysema, occupationally related breathing disorders, and inflammatory lung disease and pulmonary fibrosis. They also offer evaluations for unexplained shortness of breath, lung cancer, sleep apnea and other infections.

Our respiratory therapists are important members of our healthcare team. They work under the medical direction of physicians to treat patients—ranging from premature infants whose lungs are not fully developed to elderly people with lung disease. They provide temporary relief to patients with chronic asthma or emphysema, as well as emergency care to patients who are victims of a heart attack or stroke.
