We are pleased to introduce board-certified Counselor, Suzanne Godfrey.

Suzanne has a background in psychology and marital, couple, and family counseling. She has helped clients of all ages struggling with a range of issues, including: familial and marital discord; grief and loss; substance abuse; sexual dysfunction; serious and persistent mental illness; sexual and domestic abuse; codependency; anger management; personality disorders; and, acute and posttraumatic stress disorders.

She is a strengths-based and gender-informed counselor who focuses on cultivating wellness, personal empowerment, and happiness in her clients. Suzanne has additional training and experience regarding several topics, such as: positive psychology; personal strengths; healthy relationships; emotional awareness; effective communication; sexual wellness; and, recovery from substance abuse and dependence.

While experienced in many areas of mental health, she specializes in relationship counseling. Suzanne states, “I believe romantic relationships should enhance the lives and safety of each within the union; ideally, the relationship should be a force greater than the sum of its parts.”

Suzanne holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Counseling from Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho.

She sees patients in Idaho Falls, Blackfoot, and Pocatello.
